This is a collection of different images I've worked on with different programs and tools.

Tree scene created with PovRay.

This is another view of the tree scene.

The tree scene again with different mountains and sky in the background, the fog has been increased. Also the lighting is different which gave the mountains a textured type of look.

These are the different height field maps used for the tree scene. Some were used to create the background mountains, others only for the ground. In these grayscale images the darker parts represent less height and the lighter the surface is the greater height it represents.

To create these basically an array was filled with 1/f gaussian noise to which the fourier transform was applied. Programmed in C++.

Created with PovRay as a study in using light, shadows and reflection.

The function Log (x*x+y*y). This function becomes infinite at the origin that's where the light is emerging. I like to think of this as a nice representtion of infinity. Rendered with OpenGL, programmed in C++.

The complex exponential exp(z). Rendered with the Axiom Scientific Computation System.

The boundary of the Mandelbrot set on a sphere. Created with PovRay.

The Rat and the butterfly. Drawing with colored pencils.
